Giveaway: WinX Blu-ray Decrypter Software

Digiarty Software WinX Blu-ray Decrypter Software

I have a couple of announcements today. First, you can download Digiarty Software’s WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe for free until November 6th. WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe is an all-in-one HD video converter, DVD burner and YouTube video downloader. It supports MKV, AVCHD, M2TS, AVI, MP4, H.264, WMV, WebM, and Google TV.

The second announcement is a giveaway on my geek dad blog. Digiarty Software sent me ten license codes for their WinX Blu-ray Decrypter ($49.95 list price). If you’re interested in backing up your Blu-ray discs or copying them to your computer, just leave a comment below by November 11th (the licenses have to be activated by November 15th). Read on to find out more information about WinX Blu-ray Decrypter.

WinX Blu-ray Decrypter is a tool for decrypting and backing up Blu-ray to M2TS video file or Blu-ray folder. It is able to remove and decrypt encryption in Blu-ray discs. WinX Blu-ray Decrypter supports both Full Disc Blu-ray Backup and Title Copy modes. It enables you to decrypt Blu-ray Disc with all known copy protections and encryptions and backup 3D Blu-ray to 2D video.

I did not try using WinX Blu-ray Decrypter to copy an entire Blu-ray disc to another disc (I don’t have a Blu-ray recorder). However, I did convert a Blu-ray title to a M2TS video file. Even though there is limited instructions, the process was fairly simple. The hardest part for me was trying to find a player to watch the Blu-ray movie on my computer. Players like VLC, Windows Media Player 12 (Win 7), and DAPlayer are suppose to be able to play M2TS video files, but I couldn’t get the file to play on my computer. I’m not a Blu-ray or M2TS expert, but my guess is that my computer does not have the processing power to play the M2TS video file. There was a lot of hard drive activity, but all I could see was a blank player screen.

[Update: the winners are Quanda, Paul Russaw, Daniel M, Rick Fortner, Amber Tingle, Melissa Resnick, Diane Baum, Lance LaFrinier, Bob F, and Shannon Baas.]
